My current cart is based on a Home Depot 
'D' handle hand truck ($29.95). I've fasten 2 12" 
'L' brackets to the bottom plate to hold a 
cooler. Attached is a backpack and leather 
toolbelt.

The pole holders are duct tape wrapped U-
bolts attached through the top rail. The 'D' 
handle feature allows the top of the cart to 
nestle against the railing and the inflatable
rubber tires assure a smooth ride over 
both planked and sand surfaces.
